We're a community of 500+ families building faith, connection, and service in the Phoenix Valley. For over 20 years, we've been a home for Muslims seeking to grow together.
To nurture a vibrant Muslim community that grows in faith, serves with purpose, and builds lasting connections—making the Phoenix Valley a better place for everyone.
A Phoenix Valley where every Muslim family has a spiritual home, every youth stays connected to their faith, and our community is known for positive contribution to society.
MAS Arizona was established in 2001 by a small group of families who shared a vision: to create a welcoming space where Muslims in the Phoenix Valley could come together, learn, and grow.
What started as informal gatherings in living rooms has grown into a thriving community with regular programs for all ages, annual events that bring hundreds together, and a network of volunteers making a difference every day.
Today, we're proud to serve over 500 families across the Valley—from Chandler to Scottsdale, Tempe to Gilbert. Our focus remains the same: faith, family, and community.
Our work centers on four core areas
Quran circles, halaqas, and workshops that help community members grow in faith.
Programs that help young Muslims build identity, leadership, and lasting friendships.
Events and programs that bring families together and build community bonds.
Serving our neighbors through food drives, volunteer projects, and partnerships.
MAS Arizona is led entirely by volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to serve our community.

Fatima oversees all educational and family programs, bringing her background in education and community organizing.
A former MAS youth participant himself, Omar now leads programs for teens and young adults across the Valley.
Samira manages our 50+ volunteers, ensuring events run smoothly and community members feel welcomed.
MAS Arizona is a chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS), a national organization serving Muslim communities across the United States since 1993.
Our connection to MAS National gives us access to resources, training, and a network of sister chapters—while allowing us to serve the unique needs of the Phoenix Valley community.
Everyone who walks through our doors—visitor or member, new or longtime—should feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
We believe in continuous learning and spiritual growth, supporting each other on our journeys of faith.
True community means giving back—to each other and to our Arizona neighbors, regardless of faith or background.
Whether you're new to Phoenix, new to MAS, or just curious—you're welcome here. Start by attending an event or reaching out to say hello.
